Hi, I am an NQT and have no specialism in Media Studies. I’m teaching year 11 – any resources or help would be great because I have no support and I’m winging it at the moment!

I made a booklet to help my lower ability students write an analysis of genre in a film poster. I’ll upload it and you can see if it’s suitable.

My school is just beginning the 1st controlled assessment. Its our first time with the new syllabus and I’d like to know how people are approaching this. Hi Danny – I think you need to invite some people to join! This also has the advantage of drawing people back to the site and maybe finding some new stuff. Or you could prompt others that you know are teaching this spec and invite them to join the site as well.
