Never too late… I’ve commented on your blog. MEA is currently the best place to fight for the things media education needs. Let’s hope the new-look site will enable more dynamic discussions here!

I think it would be helpful if we knew who the members were and where they were so that a useful dialogue could begin between members who find out in that they may be in close proximity to each other.

Tend to agree with Karl – all so spread out and with so many potential routes that comments are hard to respond to and its never quite clear to me where my responses are likely to pop up. How about one featured ”issues” article (well signposted) whose raison d’etre is to provoke discussion i.e. asking more questions than it answers? Should we see if we coulld lift one or two of the more ”controversial” pieces from MfME or elsewhere ? A 500 word summary?

I think the site is very ’busy’ – too many places and ways of getting there. I think the Media Manifesto site has worked well in terms of generating conversation and that’s dead straightforward. Maybe this site is trying to do too much?? Maybe its design tends to spread people out rather than bring them together??

It’s generated contributions but has it generated conversation? I see lots of interesting contributions that have not generated any comments let alone conversations.
